A B O U T   T H E   A U T H O R

Russell DaShiell was raised on the island of Oahu, Hawaii, where he taught himself to play guitar at age 15.

 

Over the years he’s recorded and toured with numerous members of the Rock ’n’ Roll Hall of Fame.  He’s best known for playing lead guitar on the multi-million-selling hit Spirit In The Sky, which has been featured in over 50 films and TV commercials.

 

During his career he’s written and recorded hundreds of songs.  Foreverland Forest is his first original screenplay.
